Introduction to University of Hertfordshire
Established in 1952, University of Hertfordshire was highly regarded and ranked in the young universities of the world. It has gained outstanding reputation for its innovation and pioneering in high education.
After over 50 years of development, University of Hertfordshire has become a comprehensive national university with more than 200 programs ranging from undergraduate, postgraduate, to doctorate fields. The university specializes in teaching practical knowledge and skills in business, technology, and engineering. It has been long regarded as “the Cradle of Entrepreneurs and Engineers in the UK”.

Located in Hatfield, a town north to London, University of Hertfordshire enjoys a very convenient location. It takes only 25 minutes by train to downtown London. Because of its unique location, it has been always ranked as one of the safest campuses in the UK. While the university provides students with a peaceful environment for study, it is easy and convenient for students to visit London on weekends for shopping, sightseeing, food, and other recreational activities.
The university has two campuses, College Lane and De Haviland, with over 25,000 students, among whom 3,000 come from 120 countries. It boasts its new and modern facilities of teaching, research, living, and sports.
As a comprehensive university, it has 9 colleges, including business, engineering and computer, creative arts, humanities, education, law, life and medical science, health and social work.
The university’s tuition is quite affordable, with only 13000 pounds for undergraduate programs. Besides, it offers scholarships to students with good academic qualifications.
