Xinjiang Agricultural University, formerly known as Xinjiang Bayi Agricultural College, was founded in 1952 and renamed as Xinjiang Agricultural University in 1995. It is a university with advantages and characteristics of Agricultural Science in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Since the establishment of the University, the school has always adhered to the school running policy of "integrating theory with practice and teaching with production", forming a complete talent training system of undergraduate, master and doctoral students.
