On the afternoon of September 7, the opening ceremony of international education college of concord college, fujian normal university was held in the academic lecture hall. Han sanjun, director of the UK higher education diploma programme of the overseas education service centre of the ministry of education of China, yuan yonglin, huang yuepeng, Lin yuhui and wang jin 'an, leaders of the institute of international education, attended the opening ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by dai shaojuan, secretary of the general branch of the foreign language department.
The ceremony kicked off with the national anthem. Vice President and dean of the school of international education wang jin 'an addressed the ceremony. He warmly welcomed the new students. Cherish the university time, overcome difficulties, pursue excellence, and strive to become a talent with international innovative vision. Then, Mr. Han sanjun expressed the season's greetings to all the teachers and put forward the requirements for the freshmen of the class of 2012. He hoped that the students could take part in practical activities in their spare time to broaden their horizon and knowledge. Later, he lijian, principal of international education school, gao jiawei, the first outstanding graduate and monitor of the international finance experimental class of 2008, and Lin xinyi, the financial management major of 2012, made speeches respectively.
After the opening ceremony, the school of international education arranged safety education for new students.
