In the afternoon of September 16, 2007, the opening ceremony of 2007 international program was held in the lecture hall of the center. In the solemn national anthem, the new students with the desire for knowledge and the vision of the future opened a new page in the journey of life.
The opening ceremony was presided over by yu heping, director of student service center of Beijing jiaotong university. Guan huifeng, deputy secretary of the party committee of the college, zhu zuqiang, deputy dean, shao wei, deputy director of the overseas study service center of the ministry of education, and Ms. Liu jing of Beijing yinhong international education consulting co., LTD attended the opening ceremony.
Guan huifeng, secretary of the party committee of the college, gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the meeting. He introduced to the students the history of jiaotong university for more than one hundred years, and the achievements of the rapid development of our school in recent years, introduced the development of international cooperation projects and the development prospects, and raised great hopes for the new students. Shao wei, deputy director of the overseas study service center of the ministry of education, introduced the development of international programs in China and the situation of studying abroad, and encouraged students to be confident, independent, learn to recognize, learn to work, learn to be a person.
Li Chen, a student of grade 06, expressed good wishes to the new students on behalf of all the students.
